Using a wide range of postures and practices, this workshop shows us how to maintain connection to ourselves while relating to others. Incorporating the touch, presence and energy of others, we deepen our self-awareness and the potential of postures. Discover how to apply Partner Yoga principles such as touch, grounding, trust and compassion in both postures and in life
Saturday Jun 29th, 16:00-19:00pm ‘The Joy of Flying’
In Partner Yoga postures, there is always a point of balance and stillness in which we can rest - even in the most challenging postures. Learn to safely navigate yourself and your partner in aerial postures. This workshop provides a step-by- step how to enter into the powerful flying posture sequences. These postures are instrumental in overcoming physical and emotional limitations and learning to trust ourselves and each other.

Teacher Training
The Principle-Based Partner Yoga™ Teacher Training is an opportunity to explore and develop skills in a unique healing art - an art that expands the traditional practice of Yoga into the realm of relationship and authentic connection with others.
This first of its kind training includes an in-depth curriculum and training manual. The skills received though this training are invaluable assets for any Yoga Teacher as well as anyone with a sincere interest in Partner Yoga. Graduates leave the training prepared to lead workshops and classes in their own communities and studios.
Those attending the training not only learn to safely navigate aerial poses, they will also be trained in a variety of approaches and applications for the creative use of Partner Yoga.
The training is a 30 hour accredited course applicable toward Yoga Alliance continuing education. You will receive a certificate upon completion of the requirements. See the Curriculum below

The purpose of this course is to empower individuals with the skills and confidence needed to share Partner Yoga with others while accelerating their own understanding of Yoga. A comprehensive training Manual is provided at the training.
Curriculum:
Understanding and implementing the principles of Partner Yoga
Cultivating clear, compassionate and confident touch/boundary and safety guidelines
Overview of various approaches to Partner Yoga including: skillful assisting and adjusting, Partner Vinyasa, Mirrored postures, Creative composition of postures, Inversions and Group Practices
Practice of the postures presented in 'The Pleasures and Principles of Partner Yoga' and additional postures presented in the Training Manual
Safely navigating Partner Inversions and Aerial postures
Creating private and public class/workshop formats and themes
Guiding group dynamics
Projecting voice and presence with confidence
Physical/energetic warm-ups including Thai Yoga Massage techniques
Partner and Group Meditations
Partner alignment skills for strength, balance and flexibility
Understanding the dynamics of gravity and traction in Partner practices
Physical and subtle anatomy of the pelvis and sacrum

Elysabeth Williamson
Elysabeth Williamson is an internationally recognized Yoga teacher and founder of Principle-Based Partner Yoga™. She is the author of ‘The Pleasures and Principles of Partner Yoga’ a seven year undertaking, and recently released ‘Partner Yoga Touch’, a state-of-the-art iPhone app, both award winning projects.
Elysabeth has a particular gift for articulating and transmitting esoteric teachings in ways that are accessible and practical for everyone. Her primary passion is how to use Yoga as a tool to open the heart and cultivate healthy relationships.
Elysabeth is deeply committed to sharing the transformative power of Partner Yoga through presenting international classes, workshops and Teacher Trainings.
Elysabeth has had a lifelong connection with Yoga and experienced spontaneous, intuitive movement into yoga postures throughout her childhood. She began formal studies at the age of seventeen, including many diverse Yogic traditions such as Kripalu, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Kundalini, Kriya, and Power Vinyasa Yoga. Certified as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, Elysabeth incorporates a wide variety of healing modalities into her teaching including Thai Yoga massage, Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu and various meditation techniques.perienced, registered, Yoga teacher.
