Elena Papalambrou
Elena took her first yoga class in 2005 at a gym. She understood that something was happening there, something other than just exercise. Determined to deepen her practice, she went to a yoga studio and tasted the longer-lasting practices of the body, mind and spirit.
The big turning point in her life was when she returned to her yoga practice two years after the birth of her child. The hours of the week she practiced yoga were so beneficial to her and the benefits extended to her entire family. She experienced the importance of self-care and how she could share it with those surrounding her.
In 2016 she began her teaching journey, attending Konstantinos Haradinotis' 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. She has since then continued to enrich her basic training with many seminars and trainings, including "Yoga & Kids" with Cayetana Rodenas, Thai Yoga Massage for all with George Mertino, "Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation" with Dr. Nikolaou Kostopoulos and Vaidia Asvin Barot. Believing in lifelong learning and development, in 2018 she started her 300-hour training course under her teacher, Maja Zilih. To date she has completed a series of trainings such as Yoga for Beginners, Advanced Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Meditation, Sensit Yoga Organs, Sound Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Accessible Yoga.
“Yoga for me is not just physical movement or breathing. It is a way of life and is applied in and out of the studio. The way you handle difficulties on the mat can easily be paralleled with the difficulties of life, the way you push yourself to do the practice "like others" without listening to your body, derails you from your own unique practice. ”
