We all have a predisposition to wholeness. This session will guide your attention through different systems – skeletal, organ, fascial, nervous systems – inviting you to recognise different qualities that come with each one, to discern which system feels the most familiar to you, and which one calls for your attention and care the most. You will enjoy the abundance of sensations as your systems, one-by-one start to consciously relate to gravity and space. Ultimately, the invitation is to feel the synergistic intelligence between all of the systems and to experience the wholeness of your being.

The living waters of our body This is a journey of tapping into the fluids and their enormous regenerative and healing potential. We will embody both the soft and the strong nature of the intelligent, resonant, liquid environment within us. When the mind gets informed by the body, that the natural state of being is a continuous change and flow, the mind changes as well – we become softer in our beliefs, wider in our hearts, and more diverse and adaptable in our lives.

Closing: A short guided heart-oriented somatic practice, followed by a few closing words, and open floor for questions and comments
She is a dedicated student and teacher of Somatics, with studies in Body-Mind Centering, Feldenkrais and Continuum, aspects of which inspire and infuse her yoga practice and teaching.
Maja is a passionate explorer of yoga as a process of human healing and growth. Her life and teaching are dedicated to connecting with people with presence and care. Her Sensit Yoga method consists of applicable, mindful, and embodied approach to physical movement. She invites students to move and learn with increased sensitivity and heightened awareness. The healing of body-mind happens through a cultivation of a respectful, kind and supportive inner relationship. This integrative approach helps us understand our needs, feelings and aspirations, and to create new patterns of choosing for ourselves what serves our health and wellbeing. Interoceptive movement is a gradual process of coming home to ourselves through healthy and conscious living.
Maja's note: The outside world is merely a reflection of our inner state. Increasingly integrating (the seemingly scattered) parts of the self through yoga and other awareness practices, we begin to see the profound connections and interdependence everywhere we look. From the separation dream, we gradually wake up to the fact that our individual spiritual growth is both contributing to, and strongly dependent on the degree of the evolution of the collective. Whether through meditation, mindful asana practice, aware and respectful parenting, acts of self-nurture, being in service to the underprivileged, or through simple random acts of kindness, yoga truly comes alive when the context behind our actions is a desire to contribute to the elevation of consciousness of the humanity as a whole.
Maja was drawn to psychology, meditation and spirituality since early teenagehood. With her first yoga teachers - Swami Nirvikalpa and Swami Bhajanananda of Satyananda Yoga tradition - she realised that yoga is an awareness practice that enables us to deepen the understanding of the self. She studied and trained in yoga of various styles and traditions. Since 2013 she has been studying and integrating in her teaching the influences from the Body Mind Centering, Feldenkreis ATM, Continuum and other somatic movement modalities.
She also holds a diploma in Primal Integration Psychotherapy training in Ontario, Canada.
- Economy and social sciences at the Greek National University of Athens, and Open University of UK, respectively.
- Master degree in political science at the Greek National University of Athens, on conflict transformation in the Balkans by non-violent means and grass-root peacebuilding
Maja is passionate about yoga as a tool for social action and she often organises events that aim at supporting sensitive and marginalised groups.
