Sensit Yoga Somatics Teaching Fundamentals – diploma
These immersions are for anyone who wishes to deepen their somatic experience and expand their yoga practice. They are ideal for students who enjoy - and trust - the process of healing and re-patterning through the soma. To obtain a teaching diploma, one must have already completed the basic 200hr training
Hours also count towards:
►Sensit Yoga 300hr Advances Studies and
►Yoga Alliance International 300hr Advanced Yoga Studies
The essence of our teaching methodology is engaging students in an embodied self-inquiry and self-exploration. Students learn to work with felt experiences and direct somatic sensations. They begin to rely on gravity as a source of support in movement and in relaxation. They start to feel inspired and empowered by the guidance they receive from within.
The teacher's own embodied presence and interoceptive cuing is elemental in facilitating this process. It helps us safely dive within, where we can discover ourselves, lift the curtains of conditioning, and open the door to new landscapes.
Immersions offer an existing yoga teacher comprehensive material that is very well balanced between practical experience and methodology of teaching, so that each teacher can expand their embodiment practice, and at the same time acquire the necessary skills to lead their students in the path of Sensit Yoga.
Embodied anatomy explorations are inspired by Body-Mind Centering, Feldenkrais and Continuum
Immersion are independent, and can be attended separately.
The three immersions together lead to Sensit Yoga™ Teaching Fundamentals diploma
You will need at least 2 hour between sessions for homework.
Immersions are open to all practitioners and movement educators, but they are of most use to yoga teachers with at least 1 year of teaching experience.
